"Wat Phra Borommathat is located in Village No.3, Ko Ta Phao Subdistrict, Ban Tak District, Tak Province. The tourists can go ahead to Asia Road No.1 at kilometer 442, this road goes to Lam Phang, about 18 kilometers from the down town of Tak Province till the intersection to Ban Tak district, and keep driving for 1.5-2 kilometers, then turn left to cross the river. After that, there will be a market, you have to keep right at the small T-junction near the market, and then keep driving by following the guide post, it is not more than 10 kilometers. You will arrive at the temple, which is on your left. According to history, Wat Phra Borommathat is on the west bank of the Ping River. Originally, this temple was the old Tak Town before relocating the town to Rahaeng sub district, which is the Tak of today. It is about 30 kilometers away in the south, and it has a long history, since Phra Nang Chammathewi was sailing to Meuang Lamphun and stopped at this area to relax.
